Blizzard is one of the few developers whose titles resonate with players even after many years. What Warcraft did for the RTS genre, Diablo did for the action role-playing games in the ‘90s.

Diablo is an all-time classic that transcends its genre and brings forth an amazing experience for the video game industry.
1) Find the Diablo II folder on your hard drive, and open it. 2) Open the Diablo II Files folder. 3) Drag all the files from the 'Diablo II OS X patch' folder or the 'Diablo. - Go into Porting Kit, tab Library and Local. You should see Diablo 2 Right click and Show in Finder. Then right click on the Diablo 2 icon and select Show Package Content. You should see a Wineskin icon, double click on that and in the menu select 'install software' Go and look for the Plugy installer.exe that you got earlier and install it.
- But to install or reinstall a recent version of OS X, you must either download a non-bootable installer from the Mac App Store or (via OS X’s invisible, bootable recovery partition) download 6GB of installer data from Apple’s servers during the installation process. In other words, you no longer have the same safety net or convenience.

You choose from three different character classes like warrior, rogue, and sorcerer. Each of these has a different playstyle in combat and special abilities. The strong and resilient warrior can yield many different weapons and charge into battle without fear, thanks to buffed HP and armor stats. Rogues are expert marksmen with the bow, and their superior dexterity enables them to strike from afar with dangerous accuracy. Sorcerers, while weak in close combat and low on HP and armor, can use a variety of powerful spells to decimate enemies from afar.
Find various magic items and weapons in chests or from slain enemies, providing you with new powers and improved character attributes. And the best part is, this is randomized so that players are incentivized to continue on their journey through hell to find the ultimate weapon or armor. The same goes for different enemies, although some are pre-set, only a few will be seen during each playthrough. You’ll most likely come across opponents on your 2nd, 3rd, 4th playthrough you’ve never seen before.
You can test your skills and work together with, or against, three other players with online gameplay. All you need is a Battle.net account on Blizzard’s website.
Is there a better alternative?
Yes, Diablo 2. It has the same addicting formula with some tweaks and updated graphics. But, the original Diablo is a fantastic game you shouldn’t miss out.
Where can you run this program?
Diablo is playable on virtually any Windows and MacOS released since the late ‘90s. There’s also a PlayStation version, but the PC version is superior.

Even after 23 years, Diablo remains a brilliant and challenging game. No classic PC and RPG collection is complete without this gem.
Should you download it?
Yes. If you’re into action role-playing games or crave some nostalgia for the good ol’ days of PC gaming, then this is a must-play.

Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction’s gameplayis very close to the predecessor, enabling the player to enjoy the game with the mouse and to issue the instructions the character with the keyboard. The game also features a new quest and a random encounter generator is used to ensure the game gives several different experiences when played again. The game enables the player to pick the gold only by touching it or coming within range, adjusted by gear, instead of having to manually pick it up. A new feature of health is also added, thus changing it with a potion bar which itself is changed by a skill bar, allowing the player to assign the quick bar buttons to skills and spells. In the predecessor, the players were allowed to assign two skills only. They used skills with the keyboard or mousewheel. Still, particular attacks can be assigned by the player with the mouse buttons.
Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction full game introduces a number of features to the gameplay of Diablo II: two new characters, fifth act, new items, new weapons, new pieces of armor, hirelings, runewords, Horadric Cube recipes, crafted items, jewels, ethereal items, skill runes, 800×600 resolution, expanded stash, alternate weapon/shield/spell setup and many more. The game includes single and multiplayer modes.
